I shot my broken 1.8 lens, but I knew that I would be able to seen through the lens so I place my AE-1 behind it for visual interest.

Bug's Eye View

My good buddy Tyler ran into a tree in my driveway, and the only piece that was left intact was this piece of reflector from his rear light. I found it to be a pretty cool subject matter so I put a flower in front of it to have a nice reflection in the reflector.

Peacock

Stacking 22 images together I lit this peacock feather with a 750 hotlight with a scrim in front of it and a white Gobo flanking the other side to give a little fill.

 

Stackin some Currency

Using the PB-2 Focusing Stage lit with a Speedotron and a white Gobo I focus stacked these coin with 24 images to get the detail in this shot.

You know what Really Grinds My Gears

I shot my roommate Ian's rear wheel gears to his bike and lit it with a Profoto light at a 1:1 ratio getting in there to get the detail in the scratches on the gears and part of the chain so you can kind of tell what the shot is of, but I really like how it came out.

Optimus Prime

Introducing Optimus Prime, the heater that keeps me warm at night. At a 1:7 ratio I shot optimus so that I would be able to get the coils in sharp focus still be able to get the name in the photo as well.

It's Time For A Shave

I back lit this mound of shaving cream with exfoliating beads in it for a macro weekly, I think it came out pretty nice and vibrant in color.

I shot this bottle that my friend Daniel got from his trip to Africa for one of my projects for macro, I shot glass with a light field background flaked with two black cards. I really like how it came out.

This is a shot of Coca Cola back lit by a hot light in studio for my macro class at a 1 to 1 raito with the 60mm lens, I could get a greater depth of field, what do you think?

 

French Toast..Oui Oui
